Hard Boiled Eggs
    Directions:
  1. For best results let eggs sit out of fridge for at least 20 minutes
  2. Fill pot with enough water to cover eggs by an inch
  3. Heat pot on high heat
  4. When water reaches a rolling boil turn off the stove but leave the pot on the hot burner (for gas or induction stoves, reduce heat to low-medium)
  5. Add the eggs one by one, carefully with a slotted spoon
  6. Cover pot and set a timer for exactly 12 minutes
  7. When the timer runs out quickly bring the pot to the sink and run cold water into the pot while slowly and pouring out the hot water
  8. When the water in the pot is fairly cold add lots of ice and let the eggs sit in the ice bath for 20-30 minutes
  9. Refrigerate eggs and eat within a week
